The Coffee Table Bistro serves home-style cooking in a relaxed, Zen-like atmosphere, where everyone is welcome. Students get a special discount. Pets are welcome in the outdoor seating areas.
The Coffee Table Bistro is housed in the historic Bell Block Commercial Building in Eagle Rock. Built in 1929 on Historic Route 66,
the Bell Block Building was designed by renowned architect Walter Bell, and has housed a variety of businesses over the years,
including an early 20th century produce market and most recently, an auto parts manufacturing facility. But we
think the Bell Block Building has finally reached its destiny as the perfect location to house a fun and modern
restaurant where the community of Eagle Rock and visitors can come together.
Couched between Glendale and Old Town Pasadena, the neighborhood of Eagle Rock is experiencing an exciting revival of industry, architecture and great food. The stretch of Colorado Blvd, between Townsend and Eagle Rock Blvd, is being touted as "Eagle Rock Restaurant Row", where hungry visitors can get anything from Country French Cuisine to good old-fashioned BBQ. Although we are new, The Coffee Table Bistro has quickly become a cornerstone and comfortable gathering place in Eagle Rock Restaurant Row. Don't forget to check-out our "Eagle Rock Room" - where there are many historic photographs of Eagle Rock.
There are also big changes on the horizon for The Coffee Table Bistro. We will soon be offering beer and wine and opening a second room, with a more "sportsman-like atmosphere." Be on the lookout for more service and big changes in the future.
